ABOUT ME
COLE POWELL
I am the President and Director of a newly founded non-profit organization: PATHWAYS TO PILLARS. I have lived through an adventurous life for sure, and through this adventure, I have experienced many childhood traumas including, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicidal ideation, addiction, gang life, incarceration, and much more of the like. However . . .
I am an Overcomer, a Conqueror who is on a great journey in life. My RECOVERY JOURNEY started September 25, 2019, after attempting suicide by overdosing while incarcerated. I believe (without a doubt) that God held me back from the effects of the drugs & took away my addiction at that very moment. I believe that God has also stripped my addiction to drug dealing and my former gang lifestyle.
I have been sober from all substances and alcohol for over 5 1/2 years and have not been involved in criminal behavior for over 4 years. I am overcoming my past, day by day while living a life I could never even imagine!
I am very grateful for the opportunity to guide others in living authentically fostering self-love and compassion, while developing a deeper sense of self-acceptance and connection with others.
